We know how costly dining out with the family can get regardless a simple affair or otherwise. We’ve found just the solution at the The King Louis for an affordable family dinner that won’t burn a hole in your pockets.
Known for its larger-than-life servings, the Queen Isabelle Banquet ($85.90) consisted of Roasted Beef with Black Pepper Sauce, Premium BBQ Baby Back Ribs, Roasted Queen Chicken Pullet and Lamb Steak with Rosemary Herbs. While we did think the meats could have been a little more tender, this hearty option is served with generous portions of oven-roasted potatoes, mixed garden vegetables, mesclun and corn salad (we love!), green apples and pineapples drizzled with caramel cinnamon sauce, deeming it a complete feast especially with its pricetag. Of course, bigger portions are available to accommodate larger groups. We also loved their Signature Mushroom Soup ($9.50) and seasonal (bummer!) Lobster Bisque ($15.90)
Apart from their spread of food, the King Louis also offers unique cocktails that they’ve specially created. We personally loved The King Louis Roselle ($13/pint) - a creative concoction of Kronenbourg Blanc infused with fresh mint, lime and black currant cordial. Absolutely refreshing!

Priced at $28 (for two desserts), the delicious platter at this sky-high fine dining restaurant is bound to satiate the dessert lover in you. Fans of fruits can opt for their Yogurt Crème Brulee, which consists of fresh apricots, apple blossom, strawberry mousse, crumble, summer berries and caramel; while the Valrhona Dark Chocolate Bomb is a clear winner thanks to the interesting combination of hazelnut praline mousse, and berry compote.
If you’re going all out for dessert frenzy, splurge on a platter of five desserts ($65) for added indulgence. Apart from the two before-mentioned desserts, the menu entails Flaming Baked Alaska, White Chocolate Basil Mille Feuille with Yellow Kiwi Sorbet, Chocolate Moss Garden and Apple & Foie Gras Terrine. With such a vast variety, Stellar@1-Altitude truly stepped up their dessert game to the next level (no pun intended).
